Public Listening Projects

We gather in public spaces to offer members of the community a space to be seen and heard.

“Would you be willing to share 60 seconds of silent eye contact with a stranger?”

“Would you like to be listened to today?”

The Eye Contact Experiment.

Imagine sharing 60 seconds of silent eye contact with a total stranger.

What does this bring up for you? Fear? Excitement? Curiosity? Resistance?

Come feel it all at one of our regular, open-to-all events held in public spaces across Toronto.

Inspired by the “World’s Biggest Eye Contact Experiment” created by The Liberators Australia in 2015.

Pop-Up Listening Experiences.

When was the last time you felt someone was truly listening to you? Far too few of us can easily answer this question.

We work to change that by offering pop-up listening experiences across Toronto for anyone who needs an ear.

Come to be listened to or come to volunteer.
